Taking time to really get to know the new life around you is so important. I have learnt about more cultures and perspectives, whereas if I remained in the UK I believe I would be stuck in my own bubble.

Am I missing the UK when Australia has beaches like this. 

St Kilda

This was the day I walked from St Kilda to Port Melbourne. Though the locals may not agree - I think that St Kilda is beautiful and I could definitely spend hours on this beach watching the boats. 

Did I mention a rooftop bar?

Opening the doors on the rooftop entrance to this view was absolutely incredible. I think we were stood starring at this scene for 5 minutes in silence. 

My first time being in such a major city full time

Melbourne Centra (CBD)

On the night of a weekend these streets will be absolutely packed with life. Some people going to a rooftop bar with their friends or the nearest restaurant for date night.

I keep thinking about this day, maybe because it was my first full day in Australia. Or maybe because I had realised that this sand, sea and surrounding areas were hundreds of miles away from home.

Boardies festival 2025

There is simply no better feeling than spending morning till late noon tanning on the beach with the surfers being the TV show. Cleaning up and getting ready to listen to major artists and watching the sun set on the Cornish coastline.
